A 25-year-old man is charged with capital murder in the death of a young child.
Montgomery police on Thursday announced the death of 2-year-old Cole Cherry. They also said Isadore Holiday Jr. is charged in Cole’s death.
On Friday, Oct. 9, Cole was taken to a Montgomery hospital after being physically assaulted, said Montgomery police Capt. Saba Coleman. The 2-year-old was pronounced dead on Saturday. She did not elaborate on the child’s injuries or circumstances surrounding the death.
The investigation led the warrant being issued against Holiday. The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force took Holiday into custody on Thursday. He is being booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
